A Date in the Garden – A Festival Dedicated to Gardens

On the occasion of the national celebration “A Date in the Garden” we invite you to Villa Miralfiore for a morning dedicated to discovering the garden as a place of art, beauty, and reflection.
You will be able to freely explore the Italian-style gardens, walking among pathways, hedges, and green geometries that tell centuries of history and landscape harmony.
Accompanying the visit will be a live reading at 11:00 AM, featuring selected passages by authors who have celebrated the garden as an inner and symbolic space: Francis Bacon, Jorn de Précy, Emily Dickinson, Hermann Hesse, Marco Martella, Pia Pera, Rainer Maria Rilke, Vita Sackville-West, and Elizabeth von Arnim.
An invitation to be inspired by words and nature, in an intertwining of landscape, poetry, and thought.
