This tree, which can grow up to 40 meters tall, is widely found in European parks for its resilience and generous shade. Originating in the 17th century, the Plane is a symbol of urban resilience and an important ecological asset enriching the urban landscape.
Famous for its beautiful mottled bark in shades of white, gray, cream, or light brown.
The leaf is tri or penta-lobed, deep green, and can grow up to 40 centimeters long.
